In 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to present at the TASA/TASB Convention on Latino Leadership: Shifting to Growth Over Experience. This session focused on reimagining leadership development by prioritizing potential, adaptability, and continuous learning over traditional experience-based hiring models. Organizations often overlook high-potential Latino leaders because they don’t check every conventional box—but by shifting the focus to growth, we can build a more diverse and dynamic leadership pipeline.
